प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 29 जुलाई, 2023 को दिल्ली के प्रगति मैदान में अखिल भारतीय शिक्षा समागम 2023 का उद्घाटन किया. इस समागम में देश के शिक्षाविदों, शिक्षकों, छात्रों और अभिभावकों ने भाग लिया. प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने उद्घाटन भाषण में कहा कि भारत को एक वैश्विक शक्ति बनाने में शिक्षा की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है. उन्होंने कहा कि नई शिक्षा नीति 2020 भारत को एक ज्ञान-आधारित अर्थव्यवस्था बनाने में मदद करेगी. प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में बड़े बदलाव ला रही है और इन बदलावों से देश के सभी बच्चों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा मिलेगी.
