2.4 Lakh+ Jobs Vacant in Railways across Posts: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw informed that there are over 2.4 lakh jobs vacant in Railways across posts. He said that the Railways is taking steps to fill these vacancies in a phased manner.

The Minister said that the Railways is conducting a large number of recruitment exams to fill these vacancies. He said that the Railways is also in the process of recruiting apprentices to fill the vacancies in technical and non-technical areas.

The Minister said that the Railways is committed to providing employment to the youth of the country. He said that the Railways will continue to conduct recruitment exams to fill the vacancies in a phased manner.

The vacancies in Railways are spread across a variety of posts, including Group A, Group B, and Group C posts. The vacancies are also spread across different departments of Railways, such as the Engineering Department, the Operations Department, and the Commercial Department.

The Railways is conducting a variety of recruitment exams to fill these vacancies. Some of the important recruitment exams conducted by the Railways include the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) exams, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) exams, and the Indian Railway Medical Services (IRMS) exams.

The Railways is also in the process of recruiting apprentices to fill the vacancies in technical and non-technical areas. The apprentices are recruited through the Railway Apprenticeship Scheme (RAS).
