50 teachers from CBSE and Kendriya Vidyalaya schools across India were invited as special guests to the 77th Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort on August 15, 2023. The teachers were selected for their outstanding dedication and commitment to the field of education.
The teachers were given a two-day programme on August 14 and 15. On August 14, they visited India Gate, the War Memorial, and Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya. On August 15, they attended the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort, where the Prime Minister hoisted the tricolour.
The teachers were also given the opportunity to interact with Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Union Minister of State for Education. They discussed the importance of education in nation-building and the challenges faced by teachers in today's world.
The teachers were honoured to be invited to the Independence Day celebrations and said that it was a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the country and to reaffirm their commitment to education. They said that they would use the experience to inspire their students to achieve great things in life.
