The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the notification for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2023. The registration process for the STET 2023 exam has started today, August 9, 2023, and will end on August 23, 2023.
The STET 2023 exam will be conducted for the recruitment of Secondary School Teachers in Bihar. The exam will be held in two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I will be held for the recruitment of teachers of Mathematics, Science, and Social Science subjects, while Paper-II will be held for the recruitment of teachers of English and Hindi subjects.
The eligibility criteria for the STET 2023 exam are as follows:
- The candidate must have passed the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized university.
- The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- The candidate must have passed the Bihar State Eligibility Test (BSSET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
The application fee for the STET 2023 exam is Rs. 750 for General Category candidates and Rs. 375 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The application fee can be paid online through credit card, debit card, or net banking.
The STET 2023 exam will be held on October 1, 2023. The admit cards for the exam will be released in September 2023. The results of the STET 2023 exam will be announced in November 2023.
