How to apply for the SSC MTS 2023 Exam


Here are the steps on how to apply for the SSC MTS 2023 exam:

  1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at ssc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the "Apply Online" link.
  3. Create a new account or login to your existing account.
  4. Select the "SSC MTS & Havaldar Examination 2023" exam from the list of available exams.
  5. Fill in the application form carefully.
  6. Upload the required documents.
  7. Pay the application fee.
  8. Submit the application form.

Here are the documents that you need to upload as part of your application:

  • A scanned copy of your passport-size photograph.
  • A scanned copy of your signature.
  • A scanned copy of your educational qualification certificates.
  • A scanned copy of your caste certificate (if applicable).

The application fee can be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. You can also pay the fee through a bank challan.


Once you have submitted your application form, you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep a copy of this email for future reference.


The SSC MTS 2023 exam is a government recruitment exam for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) every year. The exam consists of a computer-based test (CBT) and a physical efficiency test (PET) or physical standard test (PST).

The CBT will be held in September 2023. The PET/PST will be held for those who qualify in the CBT. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the CBT and PET/PST.


The eligibility criteria for the SSC MTS 2023 exam are:

  • Age: 18 to 27 years as of January 1, 2023
  • Educational qualification: 10th pass

The application fee for the SSC MTS 2023 exam is Rs. 100 for general category candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The fee can be paid online or through a bank challan.


The last date to apply for the SSC MTS 2023 exam is July 21, 2023. Candidates can apply online on the official website of the SSC.
