The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the ICAI CA Foundation June 2023 Result on August 9, 2023. The pass percentage for the exam was 40.51%.
A total of 2,81,194 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 113,122 candidates passed. The pass percentage for male candidates was 42.42%, while the pass percentage for female candidates was 38.41%.
The ICAI CA Foundation exam is a qualifying exam for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course. The exam is held twice a year, in June and December.
The exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 on Accounting and Business Laws and Paper 2 on Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Each paper is of 3 hours duration and carries 100 marks.
To pass the exam, a candidate must score at least 40% in each paper. The exam is conducted in offline mode at various centers across India.
The ICAI CA Foundation exam is a challenging exam, but it is not impossible to pass. With hard work and dedication, you can definitely clear the exam.
