The registration for West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2023 has begun today, July 25, 2023. Candidates can register online through the official website, wbmcc.nic.in. The last date to register is July 28, 2023.
The counselling will be held for the allotment of 85% of the MBBS and BDS seats in government and private medical colleges in West Bengal. The remaining 15% of the seats will be filled through All India NEET counselling.
The registration process is as follows:
- Visit the official website, wbmcc.nic.in.
- Click on the "West Bengal NEET UG 2023 Counselling" link.
- Enter your NEET roll number and email ID.
- Click on "Submit".
- Fill in the application form and upload the required documents.
- Pay the registration fee.
The registration fee is Rs. 2,000 for general category candidates and Rs. 1,500 for SC/ST candidates.
After the registration, the candidates will be required to pay a security deposit of Rs. 50,000 for general category candidates and Rs. 25,000 for SC/ST candidates. The security deposit will be refunded after the counselling process is complete.
The counselling will be conducted in several rounds. The first round of counselling will be held in August 2023. The merit list for the first round will be based on the NEET score. The candidates will be able to fill their choices of colleges and courses in the first round. The seat allotment will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
The subsequent rounds of counselling will be held based on the vacant seats. The candidates who are not allotted a seat in the first round will be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds.
